Hanny Michaelis (19 December 1922 – 11 June 2007) was a Dutch poet. The daughter of Alfred Michaelis and Gonda Sara Swaab, both Jewish, she was born in Amsterdam. Her parents were sent to Sobibór in 1943 and never returned. She lived in hiding from 1942 to 1945. Hanny Nahmias (; born 9 April 1959) is an Israeli actress, voice actress, comedian, television presenter, singer, children's entertainer and author. She served as a member of the Ramat Gan City Council from 2008 to 2012. Biography Nachmias was born in Tel Aviv to Yaakov and Pnina Nachmias and grew up in Givatayim. The eldest of three children, she has two younger brothers. Her cousin is the politician Ayelet Nahmias-Verbin. Her family are from Thessaloniki, Greece. Hanny R. Saputra (born 11 May 1965) is an Indonesian director. One of his films, '' Under the Protection of Ka'Bah'', was Indonesia's submission for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in the 84th Academy Awards. Biography Saputra was born in Salatiga, Central Java, on 11 May 1965. As a child he enjoyed watching movies, and in 1985 he enrolled in the Jakarta Art Institute to learn filmmaking. In 1997 he made his directorial debut with the television film ''Sepanjang Jalan Kenangan'' (''Along Memory Lane''), which was not picked up by any stations as it was considered too idealistic. He released his first feature film, ''Tato'', in 2002. John R. (born John Richbourg, August 20, 1910 – February 15, 1986) was an American radio disc jockey who attained fame in the 1950s and 1960s for playing rhythm and blues music on Nashville radio station WLAC. He was also a notable record producer and artist manager. Richbourg was arguably the most popular and charismatic of the four announcers at WLAC who showcased popular African-American music in nightly programs from the late 1940s to the early 1970s. (The other three were Gene Nobles, Herman Grizzard, and Bill "Hoss" Allen.) Later rock music disc jockeys, such as Alan Freed and Wolfman Jack, mimicked Richbourg's practice of using speech that simulated African-American street language of the mid-twentieth century.
