Hannu Taipale
Hannu Taipale (born 22 June 1940 in Veteli) is a Finland, Finnish former cross-country skiing (sport), cross-country skier who competed during the 1960s. He won a bronze medal in the 4 × 10 km relay at the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble. Taipale also won the silver medal in the 4 × 10 km relay at the 1966 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships. Competitive cross-country skiing encompasses a variety of race formats and course lengths. Rules of cross-country skiing are sanctioned by the International Ski Federation and by various national organizations.
