Albert Hanken

James Hanken
James Hanken is the Alexander Agassiz Professor of Zoology at Harvard University as well as the director of the Museum of Comparative Zoology. Hanken received his bachelor's degree and Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley. He then did post-doctoral research at Dalhousie University before joining the faculty of the University of Colorado at Boulder. He joined the Harvard faculty in 1999. Hanken has written over 100 scientific papers. He is also a photographer, his photos having been published in '' Natural History'' and '' Audubon'' among other publications. Hanken is also one of the people involved in the creation of the Encyclopedia of Life. Among books by Hanken is ''The Skull: Functional and Evolutionary Mechanisms'' (University of Chicago Press) written with Brian Keith Hall. Ray Hanken
Raymond George Hanken (December 3, 1911 – November 29, 1980) was an American professional football end who played two seasons with the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at George Washington University. Early life and college Raymond George Hanken was born on December 3, 1911, in Oelwein, Iowa. He attended Sacred Heart High School in Oelwein. Hanken was a member of the George Washington Colonials of George Washington University from 1933 to 1936 and a two-year letterman from 1935 to 1936. He was a blocking back for two seasons before switching to end as a senior. Professional career On November 29, 1936, Hanken made his pro debut in a start for the Baltimore Orioles of the Dixie League against the Washington Pros. The Orioles won 13–7. Tamme Hanken (May 16, 1960 – October 10, 2016) was a German horse whisperer and animals bonesetter known from the two documentary TV shows ''Der XXL-Ostfriese'' on NDR and ''Knochenbrecher on Tour'' on kabel eins, the latter of which had up to two million viewers. Jerome (; ; ; – 30 September 420), also known as Jerome of Stridon, was an early Christian priest, confessor, theologian, translator, and historian; he is commonly known as Saint Jerome. He is best known for his translation of the Bible into Latin (the translation that became known as the Vulgate) and his commentaries on the whole Bible. Jerome attempted to create a translation of the Old Testament based on a Hebrew version, rather than the Septuagint, as prior Latin Bible translations had done. His list of writings is extensive. In addition to his biblical works, he wrote polemical and historical essays, always from a theologian's perspective. Jerome was known for his teachings on Christian moral life, especially those in cosmopolitan centers such as Rome.
