Hamisu Musa
Hamisu Musa is a Nigerian politician and administrator who was a minister of Postal Service from October 1983 to December 1983. He was also a senator representing Kano South West during Nigeria's second republic. While in the senate, he served as the chairman of the Committee on Social Development. Abdullahi Aliyu Sumaila
Abdullahi Aliyu Sumaila (21 March 1946 – 11 January 2003) was a Nigerian politician and administrator. One of the first administrators to inherit the post first republican administrative structure instituted by the military, served the Local Education Authority, Kano State Government and the Federal Government of Nigeria from 1967 to 2003 in various positions. many of his administrative reforms where integrated into the bureaucracy of the Nigerian federation. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje
Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR (born 25 December 1949) is a Nigerian politician who is currently serving as the Governor of Kano State. He took over office in 2015. He previously served as Rabiu Kwankwaso's deputy governor twice, between 1999 to 2003 and 2011 to 2015. Background Ganduje was born in 1949 to a Fulani family in the village of Ganduje, Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State. He began his early education in a Qur'anic and Islamiyya school at his village, where he was trained in Islamic knowledge. Later, he moved to the headquarters of his local government where he attended Dawakin Tofa Primary School from 1956 to 1963. Ganduje attended the prestigious Government College, Birnin Kudu from 1964 to 1968. Ganduje attended Advanced Teachers' College, Kano between 1969 and 1972. People's Redemption Party
The People's Redemption Party is a social democratic political party in Nigeria. The Second Republic reincarnation of the Northern Elements Progressive Union and the Fourth Republican reincarnation of a similar namesake, the party was created by the supporters of Mallam Aminu Kano after his withdrawal from the National Party of Nigeria. The original party was banned after the 1983 military coup led by General Muhammadu Buhari.
