Hamilton Hill is a character appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. He is the former Mayor of Gotham City and an adversary of Batman. Publication history Hamilton Hill first appeared in ''Detective Comics'' #503 (June 1981) and was created by Gerry Conway and Don Newton. Fictional character biography Hamilton Hill is originally presented as a corrupt politician running against city councilman Arthur Reeves in Gotham City's mayoral election. Hill defeats Reeves and becomes mayor of Gotham City after the councilman's photos purporting to reveal Batman's identity turn out to be faked. Unbeknownst to the citizens, Hill is in league with crime lord Rupert Thorne, who helped him become mayor in exchange for Hill granting him favors. During his time in office, he assists Thorne's attempts to identify and defeat Batman. He also hires an assassin to take out police detective Harvey Bullock, who confronts Hill and is shot. Lloyd Bochner
Lloyd Wolfe Bochner (July 29, 1924 – October 29, 2005) was a Canadian film, TV and voice actor. He appeared in many Canadian and Hollywood productions between the 1950s and 1990s, including the films '' Point Blank'' (1967), '' The Detective'' (1968), '' The Young Runaways'' (1968), '' Ulzana's Raid'' (1972) and '' Satan's School for Girls'' (1973), and the television prime time soap opera ''Dynasty'' (1981–82). Bochner also voiced Mayor Hamilton Hill in '' Batman: The Animated Series'' (1992–95) and its follow-up ''The New Batman Adventures'' (1997–99). Career At the age of 11, Bochner began his acting career on Ontario radio programs. He went on to garner two Liberty Awards, the highest acting honour in Canada, for his work in Canadian film and theatre. Bochner served in the Royal Canadian Navy during World War II.

The Mutants is a fictional street gang appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. While the Mutants were first seen in ''The Dark Knight Returns'', there were other incarnations of the Mutants that appeared in later Batman comics. The Court of Owls is a criminal organization and secret society appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. They appear as adversaries of the superhero Batman. Two-Face is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character was created by Bob Kane, and first appeared in ''Detective Comics'' #66 (August 1942).
