Hamarkameratene
Hamarkameratene (), often abbreviated to HamKam or Ham-Kam, is a Norwegian professional football club based in the town of Hamar. The club was founded in 1918, originally under the name Freidig. HamKam were most recently promoted to the Eliteserien in 2021. A third-place finish in 1970 is the highest position that the team has held in the top division; the club has never progressed beyond the semifinals of the Norwegian Cup, last reaching the semifinals in 1989. Briskeby Stadion has been the home ground of Hamarkameratene since 1936. The construction of a completely modernized stadium began in 2007 but has never been completed. Originally scheduled to be completed in 2009, the expanded Briskeby is expected to have a capacity of 10,200 spectators on completion, but currently has a capacity of approximately 8,100. Vegard Skogheim
Vegard Skogheim (born 28 April 1966) is a Norwegian football coach and former player who played as a midfielder. During his active career, he played for HamKam, Werder Bremen and Viking. He had a total of 197 matches and 36 goals in the Norwegian Premier League. Skogheim played 13 matches for the Norway national football team and scored a goal. As a coach, he has been in charge of Lillehammer and Brumunddal, and has been managing Kongsvinger with success, securing promotion from Second Division in 2003, and almost repeating the feat in First Division in 2004. During winter 2006, Kongsvinger informed him, they would not sign him up for another contract, and thus he made his exit, joining former Lillestrøm coach Arne Erlandsen in his old club HamKam on 13 November 2006. 2024 Eliteserien
The 2024 Eliteserien was the 80th season of top-tier football in Norway. This was the eighth season of Eliteserien after rebranding from Tippeligaen. The season started on 31 March 2024 and ended on 1 December 2024, not including play-off matches. Bodø/Glimt are the defending champions. Fredrikstad, KFUM and Kristiansund joined as the promoted clubs from the 2023 Norwegian First Division. They replaced Vålerenga, Stabæk and Aalesund, who were relegated to the 2024 Norwegian First Division. Teams Sixteen teams compete in the league – the top thirteen teams from the previous season and three teams promoted from the First Division. 2021 Norwegian First Division
The 2021 Norwegian First Division (referred to as OBOS-ligaen for sponsorship reasons) is a Norwegian second-tier football league season. The league started on 15 May 2021, and ended on 27 November 2021. HamKam earned promotion to Eliteserien on 6 November 2021, after a 1–0 win against Stjørdals-Blink. Aalesund secured their promotion in the penultimate round. Ståle Solbakken
Ståle Solbakken (born 27 February 1968) is a Norwegian professional football manager and former player who is the head coach of the Norway national team. During his playing career, Solbakken was named 1995 Norwegian midfielder of the year, and he won the Danish Superliga championship with both Aalborg and Copenhagen (in 1999 and 2001 respectively). He played 58 matches and scored nine goals for the Norway national football team during the end of the 1990s, and represented Norway at the 1998 World Cup and 2000 European Championship tournaments. The Norwegian First Division, also called 1. divisjon () and OBOS-ligaen (due to sponsoring ties with :no:OBOS, OBOS), is the second-highest level of the Norwegian football league system. Jakob Saldern Stein Michelsen (born 30 September 1980) is a Danish football manager. He is currently the manager of Norwegian Eliteserien club HamKam. Jakob Michelsen was selected coach of the year in Denmark in 2015. He was the coach behind the sensational silver medals for SønderjyskE in 2016 and the good run in Euro League for the club. Eliteserien () is a professional association football league in Norway and the highest level of the Norwegian football league system. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Norwegian First Division. Seasons run from March to November with each team playing 30 matches (playing each other home and away). Most games are played on Sunday evenings. Arne Erlandsen
Arne Erlandsen (born 20 December 1959) is a Norwegian association football, football manager (association football), manager and former player. He is currently the manager for Skeid Fotball, Skeid. During his own playing career he had relative success as a midfielder, having played for Lillestrøm SK and Swedish team Djurgårdens IF Fotboll, Djurgårdens IF as well as 20 matches for Norway national football team, Norway. Frode Grodås (born 24 October 1964) is a Norwegian association football, football coach and former Norway national football team, national team Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper.
