Halásztelek FC is a Hungarian Football Club from Pest County. Halásztelek FC ( beforehand: Halásztelki Közösségi Sportkör) was established in 1961. The club takes part in the Hungarian county championship. The biggest success was in 1995 when the team won this Championship. The most famous manager of the Team is Laszlo Repasi. He works with the U-15 Team. Here has worked the also famous manager László Kovács (football manager), László Kovács. He went to the Arabian Team Al-Salmiya SC. Halásztelek
Halásztelek () is a town in Pest County, Hungary. Halásztelek lies on the northern part of Csepel Island, on the Danube. History The Romans, during their occupation, found Halásztelek dangerous because of the regular flooding of the Danube. It is likely that Attila, Attila the Hun started his attacks here against the Roman fortress which may have been at Százhalombatta. The occupying Hungarians from East Asia used Csepel Island as a summer retreat, and Szőlős, Háros and Tököl grew into settlements over time. At the end of the 19th century the population of Halásztelek numbered no more than fifty. The settlement was named after Ernő Warmann's sister and was called Herminamajor ("Hermina's field") or Herminatelep ("Hermina's land"). The next owner was Pál Sándor who grew melons. Al-Salmiya Sporting Club () is a Kuwaiti professional association football, football club in Salmiya. They have won the Kuwaiti Premier League four times, most recently in 2000.
