Halldor Skard (born 11 April 1973 in Oslo) is a former Norwegian nordic combined skier who competed from 1990 to 2000. He won the 4 x 5 km team Event at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano. Nordic combined is a winter sport in which athletes compete in cross-country skiing (sport), cross-country skiing and ski jumping. The Nordic combined at the Winter Olympics has been held since the first 1924 Winter Olympics, Winter Olympics in 1924, while the FIS Nordic Combined World Cup has been held since 1983. The World Championships was started in 1925 for men and opened for women's participation in 1954.
