Halfdan E (Halfdan E Nielsen,Hilmar Vester DR.dk, January 30, 2011 (in Danish). born November 21, 1965) is a Danish film composer. His work has won two Danish Grammy Awards and three Danish Robert Awards. His music for the television series ''Borgen'' has also won the 2011 FIPA prize. Biography Halfdan E was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. After stints as a session bass player in many different rock bands in the 1980s and early 1990s, followed by a degree from the Academy of Music in Copenhagen, Halfdan E collaborated with Danish poet Dan Turèll on the crossover project "Pas På Pengene", resulting in two CD recordings, which both won Danish Grammy awards. He continued to compose for film and television, working with film directors such as Per Fly and Hans Petter Moland, and to work as a pop and rock producer. Hans Petter Moland
Hans Petter Moland (born 17 October 1955) is a Norwegian film director. Moland was born in Oslo. He had received awards for his commercials at major festivals, including Cannes, before he made his feature debut in 1993 with ''The Last Lieutenant''. He followed up with '' Zero Kelvin'' (1995), ''Aberdeen'' (2000) and '' The Beautiful Country'' (2004), which was selected for Competition in Berlin. He also directed the short film ''United We Stand'', which has been awarded prizes at several major film festivals. He is also well known for his collaboration and deep friendship with Swedish actor Stellan Skarsgård, having directed him in three movies; ''Zero Kelvin'', ''Aberdeen'' and '' En ganske snill mann'' (2010), the latter being nominated for the Golden Bear at the 60th Berlin International Film Festival. ''Monas verden'' ( eng. ''Mona's World'') is a Danish film from 2001, directed by Jonas Elmer. The actors could work relatively freely of a script by Nikolaj Peyk. The story was first created by Jonas Elmer with Sidse Babett Knudsen, and given to the actors (12-13 pages). A test filming of the improvisation took place, and was then made into the script by Nikolaj Peyk. Niels Viggo Bentzon (Copenhagen, 24 August 1919 – Copenhagen, 25 April 2000) was a Danish composer and pianist.
