Halfdan E. Nielsen
Halfdan E (Halfdan E Nielsen, born November 21, 1965) is a Danish film composer. His work has won two Danish Grammy Awards and three Danish Robert Awards. His music for the television series '' Borgen'' has also won the 2011 FIPA prize. Biography Halfdan E was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. After stints as a session bass player in many different rock bands in the 1980s and early 1990s, followed by a degree from the Academy of Music in Copenhagen, Halfdan E collaborated with Danish poet Dan Turèll on the crossover project "Pas På Pengene", resulting in two CD recordings, which both won Danish Grammy awards. He continued to compose for film and television, working with film directors such as Per Fly and Hans Petter Moland, and to work as a pop and rock producer. He wrote the score for Per Fly's TV-series ''Forestillinger''. Halfdan E has been awarded three Danish Robert Awards out of five nominations. Hans Petter Moland
Hans Petter Moland (born 17 October 1955) is a Norwegian film director. Career Moland was born in Oslo. He had received awards for his commercials at major festivals, including Cannes, before he made his feature debut in 1993 with ''The Last Lieutenant''. He followed up with ''Kjærlighetens kjøtere, Zero Kelvin'' (1995), ''Aberdeen (2000 film), Aberdeen'' (2000) and ''The Beautiful Country'' (2004), which was selected for Competition in Berlin. He also directed the short film ''United We Stand'', which has been awarded prizes at several major film festivals. He is also well known for his collaboration and deep friendship with Swedish actor Stellan Skarsgård, having directed him in three movies; ''Zero Kelvin'', ''Aberdeen'' and ''A Somewhat Gentle Man, En ganske snill mann'' (2010), the latter being nominated for the Golden Bear at the 60th Berlin International Film Festival. ''Monas verden'' ( eng. ''Mona's World'') is a Danish film from 2001, directed by Jonas Elmer. The actors could work relatively freely of a script by Nikolaj Peyk. The story was first created by Jonas Elmer with Sidse Babett Knudsen, and given to the actors (12-13 pages). A test filming of the improvisation took place, and was then made into the script by Nikolaj Peyk. Niels Viggo Bentzon
Niels Viggo Bentzon (24 August 1919 – 25 April 2000) was a Danish composer and pianist. Biography Bentzon was born and died in Copenhagen. He was the son of Viggo Bentzon (1861-1937), Rector of Copenhagen University and Karen Hartmann (1882-1977), concert pianist. Through his mother, Bentzon was descended from the Danish composer Johann Hartmann and was the great-grandson of the Danish composer J.P.E. Hartmann. From 1938 to 1942, he studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen under Knud Jeppesen and Christian Christiansen. He then taught at The Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus (1945–50) and at The Royal Danish Academy (1950–88). As a pianist, he left many recordings of works by Beethoven, Scriabin, Busoni, Schoenberg, Petrassi and others, though he is mainly known for the interpretation of his own works. Banedanmark (; previously Banestyrelsen) is a Danish agency that is responsible for the maintenance and traffic control on all of the state owned Danish railway network.
