Hailee Cooper
Hailee Cooper (born December 21, 1999) is an American professional golfer from Montgomery, Texas. In 2024 she turned professional and joined the Epson Tour. In 2018, Cooper made her LPGA Tour debut at the 2018 U.S. Women's Open where she made the cut, finishing 55th. Amateur career Cooper was introduced to the sport of golf early, reportedly first holding a golf grip at three days old. By age 10 she was fully committed to the sport, placing fifth in the Southern Texas Professional Golfers’ Association Junior Tournament. By 12, her talent was being spotted by college coaches. She won the Texas State golf championships during her first year of high school. In high school, Cooper was a five-time AJGA Rolex All-American and named one of the top prospects in the Class of 2018. 2019 Arnold Palmer Cup
The 2019 Arnold Palmer Cup was a team golf competition held from June 7–9, 2019 at Alotian Golf Club, Roland, Arkansas. It was the 23rd time the event had been contested and the second under the new format in which women golfers played in addition to men and an international team, representing the rest of the world, replaced the European team. The international team won the match 33½–26½. Format The contest was played over three days. On Friday, there were 12 mixed four-ball matches. On Saturday there were 12 mixed foursomes matches in the morning and 12 fourball matches in the afternoon, six all-women matches and six all-men matches. 24 singles matches were played on Sunday. The Women's Open (originally known as the Women's British Open, and still widely referred to by that name outside the UK) is a major championship in women's professional golf. The Evian Championship, currently known for sponsorship reasons as The Amundi Evian Championship, is a women's professional golf tournament in France, played at the Evian Resort Golf Club in Évian-les-Bains. It was originally held in June, moved to July in 2003, and moved again to September in 2013. It returned to a July date in 2019. The Chevron Championship is a professional women's golf tournament. An event on the LPGA Tour, it is one of the tour's five major championships, and has traditionally been the first of the season since its elevation to major status in 1983. The Arnold Palmer Cup is an annual team golf competition for college/university golfers. It is named for Arnold Palmer. From 2018 it has been contested between a United States team and an International team representing the rest of the world. The teams consist of 12 men and 12 women. The teams are selected on the basis of nationality, not according to the location of the players' universities.
