Geography The municipality has an area of 22.655 km2. The geography of the municipality of Haidari is diverse: the eastern part, where the town Haidari is situated, is densely populated and forms a continuous built up area with the inner suburbs of central Athens. The rocky Aigaleo hills run through the central part of the municipality. The pine forest of Dafni and the Daphni Monastery lie on the eastern slopes of Aigaleo. The westernmost part of Haidari is the small industrial port town Skaramagkas, on the Saronic Gulf near Eleusis. Keratsini ( el, Κερατσίνι) is a suburb in the western part of the Piraeus regional unit, part of the Athens Urban Area. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Keratsini-Drapetsona, of which it is the seat and a municipal unit. Geography Keratsini is situated on the Saronic Gulf coast, northwest of Piraeus and about west of Athens city centre. The municipal unit has an area of 7.601 km2. The coastal area consists mainly of port facilities, part of the Port of Piraeus. Culture Keratsini has its own non-professional choir (mixed voices, SATB). Perama
Perama ( el, Πέραμα) is a suburb of Piraeus. It is part of Athens urban area and belogs to the Piraeus regional unit. It lies on the southwest edge of the Aegaleo mountains, on the Saronic Gulf coast. It is 8 km northwest of Piraeus, and 14 km west of Athens city centre. The municipality has an area of 14.729 km2. Petroupoli ( el, Πετρούπολη, meaning "City/town of Peter") is a town in Attica that falls under the administrative sector of West Athens. Aspropyrgos ( el, Ασπρόπυργος) is a suburb of Athens, and a municipality in the West Attica regional unit, Attica, Greece. The municipality had a population of 30,251 at the 2011 census.
