Hadgaon Taluka
The Hadgaon taluka or Hadgaon ''tehsil'' is a ''taluka'' in the Nanded district of the Indian state of Maharashtra. This ''tehsil'' includes one municipal council, Hadgaon, and 154 villages. The Hadgaon ''taluka'' is attached to the Hingoli Lok Sabha constituency and is not included in the Nanded constituency.. Economy The economy is mainly agricultural. The taluka has neither an industry sector or service sector. The major crops are cotton, Sorghum bicolor, ''jowar'', Pearl millet, ''bajra'', soybean, banana, and other crops such as vegetables and flowers. The organic wild custard apple is the major forest produce in the tribal belt. Nanded District
Nanded district (Marathi pronunciation: Help:IPA/Marathi, [naːn̪d̪eɖ]) is a districts of Maharashtra, district of Maharashtra state in central India. The city of Nanded is the district headquarters. History Nanded is mentioned in historical accounts since 1st century. Upon reorganization of states in 1956, the district of Nanded came to comprise six talukas namely Kandhar, Hadgaon, Biloli, Degloor, Mudhol whereas Mukhed and Bhokar were called Mahals (revenue headquarters). As a result of reorganization of states, Bichkunda, Jukkal villages of Degloor taluka as well as the whole of Mudhol taluka (excluding Dharmabad) were merged with Nizamabad District of Telangana. In lieu of them, Kinwat and Islapur villages were separated from Adilabad District and made part of Nanded District again.
