Bola Shareef is a town in municipal committee of Hadali, of Khushab District in Punjab province of Pakistan. This Baoli was a source of fresh water not only for humans but it was built in a way that animals as huge as elephants could go down to drink water directly from the well. Hadali
Hadali ( ur, ) is a town located in Khushab District in the Punjab Province of Pakistan. The town is administratively subdivided into two Union Councils, including Hadali-Ii. History Khushab District was a forested agricultural region during the Indus Valley civilization. The Vedic period was characterized by Indo-Aryan culture that invaded from Central Asia and settled in the Punjab region. The Kambojas, Daradas, Kaikayas, Madras, Pauravas, Yaudheyas, Malavas, and Kurus invaded, settled and ruled the ancient Punjab region. After overrunning the Achaemenid Empire in 331 BCE, Alexander the Great marched into the Punjab region with an army of 50,000. The Districts of Pakistan ( ur, ); are the third-order administrative divisions of Pakistan, below provinces and divisions, but forming the first-tier of local government. Pakistan Standard Time ( ur, , abbreviated as PKT) is UTC+05:00 hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time. The time zone is in use during standard time in Asia. History Pakistan had been following UTC+05:30 since 1907 (during the British Raj) and continued using it after independence in 1947. On 15 September 1951, following the findings of mathematician Mahmood Anwar, two time zones were introduced.
