Brücken-Hackpfüffel is a municipality in the Mansfeld-Südharz district, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It was formed on 1 January 2009 by the merger of the former municipalities Brücken and Hackpfüffel. Helme
The Helme is river in central Germany that is about long and which forms a left-hand, western tributary of the Unstrut in the states of Thuringia and Saxony-Anhalt. Course The river rises in Thuringia south of the Harz mountains in the district of Eichsfeld. Its source lies amongst the northern foothills of the Ohm Hills between Weißenborn-Lüderode and Stöckey by the ''Helmspring''. The Helme flows eastwards through the municipalities of Hohenstein and Werther to Nordhausen. Near Heringen the river is joined by the waters of the Zorge from the Harz. Northwest of the Kyffhäuser hills it is impounded into a reservoir and a flood retention basin by the Kelbra Dam in the Goldene Aue. Kelbra
Kelbra () is a town the Mansfeld-Südharz district, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It is situated north of the Kyffhäuser mountains, approx. 20 km west of Sangerhausen, and 20 km east of Nordhausen. Kelbra is part of the ''Verbandsgemeinde'' Goldene Aue. Kelbra lies on the northern slopes of the Kyffhäuser mountains in the Goldene Aue. The B 85 federal road starts in the neighbouring village of Berga and runs through Kelbra over the Kyffhäuser to Passau. Due to the proximity of the Kelbra Dam and the Kyffhäuser, the town is a type of tourist centre, but suffers from heavy day traffic, especially motorcycles, because the road climbing up to the Kyffhäuser starts here. Artern
Artern is a town in the Kyffhäuserkreis district, Thuringia, Germany. The former municipalities Heygendorf and Voigtstedt were merged into Artern in January 2019. Geography Artern is situated at the confluence of the rivers Unstrut and Helme, on a bend of the Unstrut, which flows through the town from the southeast to the northwest. It is located in the north east of Thuringia, close to the border with Saxony Anhalt, and 12 km south of Sangerhausen. Transport Artern is on the Sangerhausen–Erfurt railway and so has railway connections to Erfurt and Sangerhausen. The railway connection to Naumburg was cancelled in December 2006.
