Habib Dembélé
Habib Dembélé (born 19 April 1962) is a Malian actor, director, and author, and a candidate for the Malian Presidential elections of 2002 and 2018. Early life and education Dembélé attended to Malian Institut National des Arts de Bamako (INA) after a school diploma : Etudes Fondamentales (DEF). Career Dembélé is an actor, director, and author. He performs on both stage and screen. He founded the Gouakoulou Company, the Guimba National Company and the Mandenka International Theatre. He received Mali's Best Actor Award in 1984. His theatre credits include ''The Strange Destiny of Wangrin'', ''Hyène à jeun'' and ''Waari''. His film credits include ''Guimba, le tyran'' and ''Finzan'' (by Cheick Oumar Sissoko), ''Filon d'or'' (by Sidi Diabaté) and ''Macadam Tribu'' (by Zeca Laplaine). Pitcho Womba Konga
Pitcho Womba Konga (born 11 December 1975) is a Congolese-Belgians, Belgian actor. He was born in Kinshasa, Zaire (now the Democratic Republic of Congo) and emigrated to Belgium when he was seven years old. He formed the hip hop group Onde de Choc in 1994 and went on to create Funkdamtion, an artistic joint work to promote hip hop culture in Belgium. Pitcho's first album ''Regarde Comment'' was released in 2003 to critical acclaim. His first theatre credit was in 2003 in ''Bintou of the Ivory'' by Koffie Kwahule, directed by Rosa Gasquet. He also performed in Peter Brook's ''Tierno Bokar'' (2004) and ''Sizwe Banzi is Dead'' (2007). Bambara, also known as Bamana (N'Ko script: ) or Bamanankan (N'Ko script: ; Arabic script: ), is a lingua franca and national language of Mali spoken by perhaps 14 million people, natively by 4.2 million Bambara people and about 10 million second-language users. It is estimated that about 80 percent of the population of Mali speak Bambara as a first or second language. It has a subject–object–verb clause structure and two lexical tones. Hassane Kassi Kouyaté
The Hassane is a name for the traditionally dominant warrior tribes of the Sahrawi-Moorish areas of present-day Mauritania, southern Morocco and Western Sahara. Although lines were blurred by intermarriage and tribal re-affiliation, the Hassane were considered descendants of the Arab Maqil tribe Beni Hassan (hence the name). They held power over Sanhadja Berber-descended zawiya (religious) and znaga (servant) tribes, extracting from these the horma tax in exchange for armed protection. Occasionally, such as in the case of the important Reguibat tribe, Zawāyā Berber groups would rise to Hassane status by growing in power and prestige and taking up armed raiding; they would then often Arabize culturally to fit the prevailing image of Hassane tribes as original Arabs.
