Hayes Railway Station
Hayes railway station serves the suburban area of Hayes, in the London Borough of Bromley, south east London, England. It lies from . The main entrance is in the centre of a shopping arcade on Station Approach, with a secondary entrance from the car park on Old Station Yard. The station is served by Southeastern services from Charing Cross and forms the suburban terminus for trains on the Mid-Kent line. To avoid confusion with Hayes & Harlington, the station is referred to as ''Hayes (Kent)'' on most timetables, but the station itself is not in Kent. History Opening and early years (1882-1923) The Mid-Kent line was built by the Mid Kent and North Kent Junction and was operated on opening as far as Beckenham Junction on 1 January 1857 by the South Eastern Railway (SER). The line was extended to Addiscombe in 1864 and Elmers End (the future junction for the Hayes branch) was opened that year. Hays Regional Airport
Hays Regional Airport is three miles southeast of Hays, in Ellis County, Kansas, United States. It is used for general aviation and is home to one airline, United Express. The National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2021–2025 categorized it as a ''non-primary commercial service'' airport (between 2,500 and 10,000 enplanements per year). In the 1950s the airport was known as the Hays Municipal Airport and located in the half-mile square whose southeast corner was at East 13th Street and Canterbury Drive. The current airport opened around 1960 with a 4000-ft runway. Historical airline service Central Airlines began flights to the original Hays airport in 1961. Hays was one of several stops on a route between Denver and Kansas City. Douglas DC-3 aircraft were first used and service was soon moved to the present airport. Central later upgraded with Convair 240 and Convair 600 aircraft before merging into Frontier Airlines in 1967. Frontier flew Convair 580 aircraf ...

Hybrid Sulfur Cycle
The hybrid sulfur cycle (HyS) is a two-step water-splitting process intended to be used for hydrogen production. Based on sulfur oxidation and reduction, it is classified as a hybrid thermochemical cycle because it uses an electrochemical (instead of a thermochemical) reaction for one of the two steps. The remaining thermochemical step is shared with the sulfur-iodine cycle. The Hybrid sulphur cycle (HyS)was initially proposed and developed by Westinghouse Electric Corp. in the 1970s, so it is also known as the "Westinghouse" cycle. Current development efforts in the United States are being led by the Savannah River National Laboratory. Process description The two reactions in the HyS cycle are as follows: # H2SO4 → H2O + SO2 + ½ O2 (thermochemical, ''T'' > 800 °C) # SO2 + 2 H2O → H2SO4 + H2 (electrochemical, ''T'' = 80-120 °C) : : Net reaction: H2O → H2 + ½ O2 Sulfur dioxide acts to depolarize the anode of the electrolyzer. This resu ...
