Głubczyce County
__NOTOC__ Głubczyce County ( pl, powiat głubczycki) is a unit of territorial administration and local government ( powiat) in Opole Voivodeship, south-western Poland, on the Czech border. It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Its administrative seat and largest town is Głubczyce, which lies south of the regional capital Opole. The county also contains the towns of Kietrz, lying south-east of Głubczyce, and Baborów, south-east of Głubczyce. The county covers an area of . As of 2019, its total population is 45,679, out of which the population of Głubczyce is 12,552, that of Kietrz is 6,005, that of Baborów is 2,905, and the rural population is 24,217. Neighbouring counties Głubczyce County is bordered by Prudnik County to the north, and Kędzierzyn-Koźle County and Racibórz County to the east. Silesia Euroregion
Euroregion Silesia is a Euroregion in Poland and the Czech Republic. Description and purpose The Euroregion comprises 22 gminas on the Polish side (in the counties of Racibórz, Rybnik, Wodzisław in the Silesian Voivodeship and the Glubczyce County in the Opole Voivodeship) and 52 municipalities on the Czech side (in the districts of Opava, Bruntál and Nový Jičín, plus the city of Ostrava). The seat of the Euroregion is located in Opava. Holzminden (district)
Holzminden () is a district in Lower Saxony, Germany, with the town of Holzminden as its administrative capital. It is bounded by (from the north and clockwise) the districts of Hamelin-Pyrmont, Hildesheim and Northeim, and by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia (districts of Höxter and Lippe). Budišov nad Budišovkou (; german: Bautsch) is a town in Opava District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 2,900 inhabitants. The historic town centre is well preserved and is protected by law as an urban monument zone.
