Gødland
''Gødland'' is an American comic book ongoing series, series by Joe Casey and Tom Scioli, set in the Image Universe and published by Image Comics from 2005 in comics, 2005 to 2012 in comics, 2012. Publication history The series was conceived as both a homage to and a revival of the so-called "Cosmic Superhero Epic" as told by many great comic writers of the 1970s like Steve Englehart, Jim Starlin and Jack Kirby. The style of the series is strongly inspired by Kirby's style in his ''Eternals (comics), Eternals'' and ''Jack Kirby's Fourth World, The Fourth World'' series. While obviously strongly inspired by this series, Casey and Scioli add their own twist on the stories with a little humor. Joe Casey
Joe Casey is an American comic book writer. He has worked on titles such as '' Wildcats 3.0'', ''Uncanny X-Men'', '' The Intimates'', '' Adventures of Superman'', and '' G.I. Joe: America's Elite'' among others. As part of the comics creator group Man of Action Studios, Casey is one of the creators of the animated series ''Ben 10''. Career Starting his professional writing career at Marvel Comics, Casey wrote for several titles, including ''Cable'', '' The Incredible Hulk'' and ''Uncanny X-Men''. He is also the co-creator of the superhero America Chavez. Casey wrote many titles for Wildstorm, like the highly experimental '' Automatic Kafka'' with artist Ashley Wood. Thomas Scioli is an American comic book artist and comic book writer, writer best known for working in a style similar to Jack Kirby. Biography Scioli was born in Philadelphia and moved to Pittsburgh after studying at the University of Pittsburgh in the 1990s. Erik J. Larsen (born December 8, 1962) is an American comic book artist, writer, and publisher. He currently acts as the chief financial officer of Image Comics. Discordia
In Roman mythology, Discordia is the Roman equivalent of the Greek Eris, goddess of strife and discord. She was the daughter of Nox (Night) and Erebus. Like Eris, Discordia has no mythology other than her involvement in the Judgement of Paris. Unlike her opposite Concordia, Discordia was not a cult goddess, but simply a literary personification, and like Eris was especially associated with the strife and discord in war.
