Göksu Üçtaş Şanlı
Göksu Üçtaş Şanlı (; born August 30, 1990, in Şahinbey, Gaziantep Province, Turkey) is a retired Turkish artistic gymnast. She was the first Turkish female artistic gymnast to compete at the Olympic Games, doing so at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Personal life Üçtaş was born in Şahinbey in 1990. She took up gymnastics when she was five years old. In 2008 she began studies at Bolu Abant Izzet Baysal University, studying Physical Education and Sports. Üçtaş married fellow gymnast Özgür Şanlı in 2013. They welcomed their first child, a daughter named Lina, in 2015. Career 2006–2008 Üçtas became age-eligible for senior competition in 2006. She competed at the 2006 World Championships. In doing so she became the first female gymnast to represent Turkey at the World Championships. Üçtas was meant to compete at the 2008 Summer Olympics but failed to do so due to a severe neck injury which could have stopped her gymnastics career. 2009–2010 ... The 34th European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships was held from 11–14 August 2022 in Munich, Germany as part of the second multi-sport European Championships. Youna Dufournet
Youna Dufournet (born October 19, 1993) is a retired French gymnast, the 2009 World Vault bronze medalist, 2009 all-around champion of the Mediterranean Games, and a 2012 Olympian. She was born, in Saumur. In addition to her vaulting medal, Dufournet finished fifth in the all-around competition at the World Championships, the highest placement ever for a female French gymnast. She is France's second female medalist on vault after Alexandra Lemoine in 1950. The Artistic Gymnastics World Championships are the world championships for artistic gymnastics governed by the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG). The first edition of the championships was held in 1903, exclusively for male gymnasts. Since the tenth edition of the tournament, in 1934, women's events are held together with men's events. The 39th World Artistic Gymnastics Championships were held in Aarhus, Denmark, from October 13 to October 21, 2006. The International Gymnastics Federation, which celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2006, introduced a new Code of Points at the World Championships, removing the " perfect 10" in favor of an open-ended code with separate scores for the difficulty and execution of a routine.
