Génération Goldman
''Génération Goldman'' is a compilation/tribute album series containing interpretations of the songs of popular French singer and songwriter Jean-Jacques Goldman. It is released on My Major Company (France) noting that Michael Goldman, son of the artist is a co-founder of the label. Goldman has not released a studio album since 2001. The original album ''Génération Goldman'' was released on 19 November 2012 on My Major Company France and M 6 Music label as a tribute to Goldman. A follow-up second volume was released on 26 August 2013 entitled ''Génération Goldman Volume 2''. Due to the popularity of the albums, in August 2014, the two volumes were re-released under one cover as ''Génération Goldman Vol. 1 and Vol. 2'' ''Génération Goldman'' Songs The album contains 14 tracks performed by 20 artists with " Envole-moi" performed by M. Ultratop is an organization which generates and publishes the official record charts in Belgium. Ultratop is a non-profit organization, created in 1995 on the initiative of the Belgian Entertainment Association (BEA), the Belgian member organization of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry. Two parallel sets of charts are concurrently produced and published; one is on behalf of Belgium's mainly Dutch-speaking Flanders region, and the other catering to the nation's mainly French-speaking region of Wallonia. SNEP
SNEP (, in English National Syndicate of Phonographic Publishing) is the inter-professional organisation that protects the interests of the French record industry. Originally known under the acronym SNICOP, the organisation was established in 1922 and has 48 member companies. SNEP's responsibilities include collecting and distributing royalty payments for broadcast and performance, preventing copyright infringement of its members' works (including music piracy), and sales certification of silver, gold, platinum and diamond records and videos. Irma Pany (born 15 July 1988), better known as Irma (), is a Cameroonian singer-songwriter living in France. Early life and education She was born in Douala in a family with a scientific background. Dumè
Dominique Mattei (born in 1981 in Marseille, France) better known by the stage name Dumè is a French singer, composer and actor. Biography As an adolescent, he studied composing, singing and playing guitar at the Marseilles conservatory. He opened for concerts by Pascal Obispo and signed as a composer for Atletico music. Merwan Rim
Merwan Rim (born 13 July 1977 in Sarcelles, France) is a French actor and singer-songwriter. Biography At the age of 17, Merwan Rim started to learn and instruments as an autodidact. Realizing his gift in musical arts, Merwan decided to become a full-time musician. This decision led him into quitting Paris 13 University where he attended communication studies to enroll in Alice Dona Studios, a performing arts school for future professionals in September 2000. Nine months later, Merwan was cast as ''Ramses'' in the musical '' Les Dix Commandements''. He first was Pow-Wow member Ahmed Mouici's alternate before he took over the role on one year later. "Je marche seul" ("I Walk Alone") is the name of a 1985 song recorded by the French singer and songwriter Jean-Jacques Goldman. It was released in June 1985 as the first single from his album '' Non homologué'', as the tenth track. Though the song failed to reach number one on the French Singles Chart, it remains one of Goldman's biggest hit singles as well as one of his more popular songs live. Lyrics and music The upbeat song begins with a long musical introduction highlighted by a sax solo. Emmanuel Moire (born 16 June 1979) is a French singer, best known for portraying the role of Louis XIV in the French stage musical '' Le Roi Soleil''.
