Dibrugarh () is a city in the Indian state of Assam, located 435 kms east of the state capital Dispur. It serves as the headquarters of the Dibrugarh district in Upper Assam. Boiragimoth is a suburb of Dibrugarh city in Assam, consisting of several residential neighbourhoods and local markets. It is considered one of the most popular residential areas in the town, with shops, restaurants, schools, colleges, boarding houses, places of worship, sports facilities, and so on. Name origin Boiragimoth's name traces its origin to the Ahom kingdom.
