Gwen Stacy was an American metalcore band from Indianapolis, Indiana, active between 2004 and 2010. Their name came from the character Gwen Stacy, who appeared in the comic book ''The Amazing Spider-Man'' as the girlfriend of Peter Parker. The band announced a reunion in April 2014. History Formation and early years (2004–2008) Gwen Stacy formed as a band in mid-2004 by founding members Brent Schindler and T.J. Sego along with previous members, Chris Suter, and Josh Rickard. After several member changes the band was probably best recognized with members Cole Wallace, Brent Schindler, T.J. Sego, Patrick Meadows, and Mike Bryant. In 2007 Gwen Stacy signed to Ferret Records and released their first full length, '' The Life I Know'', on February 5, 2008. The album received low reviews. Vanna was an American hardcore punk band from Boston, Massachusetts, that was formed in 2004. On December 15, 2017, the band played their final show at the Worcester Palladium. The band's sound has been described as furious and cathartic, changing over time from screamo to metalcore to post-hardcore, with some songs showing emo or melodic metalcore elements. History Early years (2004–2005) The band formed in December 2004 by guitarists Nicholas Lambert and Evan Pharmakis. The duo recorded their first demo in Lambert's dorm room at MassArt, using the program Reason for drums. Bensenville is a village located near O'Hare International Airport in DuPage County, Illinois, with a portion of the town in Cook County. As of the 2020 census, the village population was 18,813. Oh, Sleeper is an American metalcore band from Fort Worth, Texas that formed in 2006 with former members of Terminal. In over a decade's span, Oh, Sleeper has released four full-length albums, two EPs, and toured worldwide as an opening act. ''Dreamer'' is the fourth studio album by Christian metalcore band Haste the Day. The album was released on October 14, 2008 through Solid State Records. A song from the album, entitled "68" was released on the band's MySpace on August 1. A second new song, the second track off the album entitled "Mad Man," was made available for download on iTunes September 9. The third song Haste the Day has announced the release of is "Haunting," which was posted on the band's Myspace on September 6, 2008. Their name is derived from a lyric in the hymn " It Is Well with My Soul" by Horatio Spafford. The band released an EP titled '' That They May Know You'', in 2002, followed by five studio albums: '' Burning Bridges'' (2004), ''When Everything Falls'' (2005), ''Pressure the Hinges'' (2007), '' Dreamer'' (2008), and '' Attack of the Wolf King'' (2010).
