Guyatone
Guyatone (Japanese: or ) is a Japanese guitar brand and manufacturing company that produces electric guitars, guitar amplifiers, and effect pedals. In the 1930s, the predecessor company was established as the oldest electric guitar manufacturer in Japan, and produced guitars under Guya brand until 1940. In 1948 after WWII, the company was re-established to produce electric Hawaiian guitars. In 1951, Guyatone brand was established for electric guitars, and in 1955, their first solid-body guitar was introduced.: "One of the oldest Japanese guitar brands, Guyatone dates from the 1930s when Mitsuo Matsuki set up in Tokyo. Hoshino Gakki
is a Japanese manufacturer of musical instruments. It is the owner of the Ibanez guitar and Tama Drums, Tama drum brand names. History The Hoshino company was founded in 1908 by Matsujiro Hoshino originally as the Hoshino Shoten bookstore which mostly sold books and sheet music and then gradually over the years also began to import musical instruments into Japan. Matsujiro was succeeded by Yoshitaro Hoshino. Beginning in 1929, Hoshino imported Spanish guitars of Salvador Ibáñez e Hijos of Valencia, which was bought in 1933 by Telesforo Julve, also from Valencia. In 1935, Hoshino began manufacturing their own String instrument, stringed instruments, using the name Ibanez Salvador, later shortened as "Ibanez". Stephen James Howe (born 8 April 1947) is an English musician, best known as the guitarist and backing vocalist in the progressive rock band Yes (band), Yes across three stints since 1970. Born in Holloway, London, Holloway, North London, Howe developed an interest in the guitar and began to learn the instrument himself at age 12. He embarked on a music career in 1964, first playing in several London-based blues, covers, and psychedelic rock bands for six years, including the Syndicats, Tomorrow (band), Tomorrow, and Bodast. Danelectro is a brand of musical instruments and accessories that was founded in Red Bank, New Jersey, in 1947.
