Gutur Gu
''Gutur Gu'' is a silent comedy broadcast on SAB TV, produced by B. P. Singh and directed by Prabal Barua. It was also India's first silent comedy series. Its cast include, Sheetal Maulik and Sunil Grover along with Nayan Bhatt, Bhavana Balsavar, Jaydutt Vyas and KK Goswami. The show's cast members do not speak on screen. Plot * The first season follows Balu who lives with his wife, parents and his grandmother. Silent Comedy
Silent comedy is a style of film, related to but distinct from mime, developed to bring comedy into the medium of film during the silent film era (1900s–1920s), before synchronized soundtracks that could include dialogue were technologically available for the majority of films. Bhavna Balsavar
Bhavana Balsavar (born 21 October 1967) is an Indian film, stage and television actress. She is the part of silent comedy series, '' Gutur Gu'' (2010). Personal life Bhavana is the daughter of Hindi cinema actress Shubha Khote and her husband, Mr. D.M.Balsavar. She has two siblings, including Ashwin Balsavar, a sound recordist. Bhavana's mother comes from a family with strong film connections. Bhavana's maternal uncle (Shubha's brother) is the noted actor Viju Khote and her maternal grandfather was the stage and silent-era actor Nandu Khote. Atul Parchure (30 November 1966 – 14 October 2024) was an Indian actor who performed in films, television serials and on stage. He was mainly known for his comedic roles in Marathi and Hindi film industry. Mainly a film actor, he starred in plays like Vasu Chi Sasu, Priyatama, and Tarun Turk Mhatare Arka.
