Luke Guttridge
Luke Horace Guttridge (born 27 March 1982) is an English former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He previously played for Torquay United, Cambridge United, Southend United, Leyton Orient, Colchester United, Northampton Town, Aldershot Town, Luton Town and Dagenham & Redbridge. He amassed more than 400 appearances in the Football League. Career Torquay United Born in Barnstaple, Devon, Guttridge began his career as a trainee with Torquay United after playing junior football for Paignton Pilgrims. He made his league debut whilst still a trainee as a late substitute, replacing Alex Watson in the 4–0 win against Mansfield Town on 10 April 2000. In May 2000, against the advice for a longer contract offer given by youth coaches Paul Compton and Richard Hancox, Guttridge was only offered a three-month professional contract by Torquay manager Wes Saunders, even though Cambridge United had offered him a one-year deal and the chance to play Second Division football. ...

Frank Guttridge
Frank Herbert Guttridge (12 April 1866 – 13 June 1918) was an English cricketer and footballer who played in The Football League for Notts County. He also played cricket for Nottinghamshire and Sussex, making a total of 107 first-class appearances between 1889 and 1904, during which he scored 2,190 runs and took 176 wickets. Early career Frank Guttridge was a footballer of some ability but was rather better known as a cricketer. He signed for Heanor Town in 1886. Notts County signed him in March 1888 as the 1887–1888 season was coming to a close. Season 1888–89 Frank Guttridge, playing at full-back, made his League debut on 8 September 1888 at Anfield, the then home of Everton. Notts County lost to the home team 2–1. Darcy Guttridge
Darcy Guttridge (born 30 October 1999) is an Australian rules footballer playing for the St Kilda Football Club in the AFL Women's (AFLW). She previously played for the Collingwood Football Club from 2018 to 2019. Guttridge was drafted by Collingwood with the club's second selection and the 9th pick overall in the 2018 AFL Women's draft. She made her debut in a loss to Carlton at Ikon Park in round 5 of the 2019 season. In April 2019, she departed the club and joined expansion side St Kilda. It was revealed Guttridge had signed on with the Saints for one more year on 30 June 2021, tying her to the club until the end of the 2021/2022 season. Guttridge's partner Bianca Jakobsson also plays for AFLW club St Kilda. Bill Guttridge
William Henry Guttridge (4 March 1931 – 6 April 2013) was an English professional football player and manager. Career Guttridge played as a left back for amateur side Metroshaft Works before joining First Division club Wolverhampton Wanderers in 1947. Nicknamed 'Chopper', mostly played only reserve team games for Wolves, but did make seven first team appearances during his seven-year stay at Molineux, including during their title-winning campaign of 1953–54. His competitive debut came on Christmas Day 1951 in a 3–3 draw at Aston Villa. Unable to break into Wolves' first team the full-back moved to Midlands neighbours Walsall in November 1954, where he made over 200 appearances - often as captain - during an eight-year spell. A cartilage injury forced his playing retirement in 1962. After retiring as a player, he worked as a youth coach at Walsall as well as managing Darlaston and Macclesfield Town. Leonard Francis Guttridge (27 August 1918 – 7 June 2009) was an English historian and author. Biography Guttridge was born on 27 August 1918 in Bournemouth, England. During World War II, he served as an aircraft mechanic in the British Royal Air Force. He immigrated to Washington, D.C., United States, in 1946, initially to work at the Indian Embassy. His first book, ''Jack Teagarden: the Story of a Jazz Maverick'', which he co-authored with Jay Smith, was published in 1960.
