Gustavo Baquero
Gustavo Baquero is a Venezuelan engineer, professor and oil industry executive. S&P said he would be named by Juan Guaidó's administration to be president of PDVSA (Venezuela's state-run petroleum company). Raised in Caracas in a family of doctors, Baquero did undergraduate studies at Venezuela's Andres Bello Catholic University (UCAB) and graduate studies at Harvard University. He has taught petroleum economics at UCAB and business management of hydrocarbons at IESA in Caracas. He was described by ''Americas Quarterly'' as an oil expert who would someday help rebuild Venezuela. Juan Guaidó
Juan Gerardo Antonio Guaidó Márquez (born 28 July 1983) is a Venezuelan politician and opposition figure. He belonged to the social-democratic party Popular Will, and was a federal deputy to the National Assembly representing the state of Vargas. He was a key figure in the Venezuelan presidential crisis against Nicolás Maduro from 2019 to 2023. Guaidó's political career began when he emerged as a student leader in the 2007 Venezuelan protests. He then helped found the Popular Will party with Leopoldo López in 2009, and was elected to be an alternate deputy in the National Assembly one year later in 2010. Leopoldo Eduardo López Mendoza (born 29 April 1971) is a Venezuelan opposition leader. López was elected mayor of the Chacao Municipality of Caracas in the 2000 Venezuelan regional elections, regional elections held in July 2000. He is the National Coordinator of another political party, Popular Will, Voluntad Popular, which he founded in 2009. He is a Venezuelan politician, economist, and sociologist.
