Gustav Lindh, (born 4 June 1995) is a Swedish actor. He is best known for his roles as Aron in '' Älska mig'' and Jörgen Olsson in '' Jordskott''. He is internationally best known for his role in '' Queen of Hearts''. In 2020, he plays a role in the Viaplay film ''Orca''. In 2022, he played the character Thorir the Proud in '' The Northman''. Västerås ( , , ) is a city in central Sweden on the shore of Lake Mälaren in the province of Västmanland, west of Stockholm. The city had a population of 127,799 at the end of 2019, out of the municipal total of 154,049. Västerås is the seat of Västerås Municipality, the capital of Västmanland County and an episcopal see. The series is written and directed by Josephine Bornebusch who also plays the lead. The series got a second season which started airing on Viaplay on 13 April 2020. ''Jordskott'' (, "soil shoot") is a Swedish TV thriller, crime drama series. Police detective Eva Thörnblad (Moa Gammel) investigates the disappearance of her daughter and other mysteries in her hometown of Silverhöjd. The title refers to ''jordskott'', a fictional plant parasite, which enhances one's perceptions but feeds off the host's blood. The series was first broadcast by SVT in 2015. Filming took place in Sala and Ragunda in mid-2014. The series then began broadcasting on ITV Encore in the UK on June 10, 2015, and on Canal+ Seriale in Poland on October 10, 2016. ''Queen of Hearts'' ( da, Dronningen, The Queen) is a 2019 Danish drama film directed by May el-Toukhy, and starring Trine Dyrholm and Gustav Lindh. The Danish and English film titles obliquely refer to the Queen of Hearts (Alice's Adventures in Wonderland), Queen of Hearts character in the children's book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland which is mentioned repeatedly in the film. ''The Northman'' is a 2022 American epic historical action thriller film directed by Robert Eggers, who co-wrote the screenplay with Sjón. Based on the legend of Amleth, the film stars Alexander Skarsgård (who also produced), Nicole Kidman, Claes Bang, Anya Taylor-Joy, Ethan Hawke, Björk and Willem Dafoe. The plot centers on Amleth, a Viking prince who sets out on a quest to avenge the murder of his father. The film is heavily influenced by Norse mythology. The Circle (2015 Film)
''The Circle'' (original title: ''Cirkeln'') is a Swedish fantasy directed and co-written by Levan Akin, based on the best-selling novel '' The Circle'' by Sara Bergmark Elfgren and Mats Strandberg, the former of whom also co-wrote the screenplay. It was produced and scored by ABBA member Benny Andersson. The film was intended to be the first in an trilogy of films based on ''Engelsfors'', though plans of the sequels have been cancelled. A film adaptation was to be produced by Filmlance in 2013, with Levan Akin set to direct and Bergmark Elfgren as script writer. The production was put on hold due to disagreements between the authors and Filmlance. Akin left the project as well. Benny Andersson's son Ludvig brought the novel to his attention and he bought the rights to produce the film, more faithfully than Filmlance intended, however the film still has significant differences from the original novel.
