Gustaf Bonde (1911–1977)
Count Gustaf Bonde af Björnö (8 October 1911 – 21 September 1977) was a Swedish diplomat and member of the House of Bonde. Early life Bonde was born on 8 October 1911 at Trolleholm Castle in Svalöv Municipality, Sweden, the son of Count Gustaf Trolle- Bonde (1868–1951) and Countess Henriette Falkenberg (1883–1932). He had three older siblings, two sisters and a brother. He became a second lieutenant in the Scanian Cavalry Regiment's (K 2) reserve in 1932 and graduated with an administrative degree (''kansliexamen'') in 1935. Bonde graduated from the Stockholm School of Economics in 1937. Career Bonde became an attaché at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in 1937. He served in Paris, Budapest, Washington, D.C., Cairo and Athens from 1937 to 1956. Bonde was chief of protocol at the Foreign Ministry from 1956 to 1962 and deputy introducer for foreign emissaries from 1960. Svalöv Municipality
Svalöv Municipality () is a municipality in Skåne County in southern Sweden. Its seat is located in the town Svalöv. The local government reform of 1952 grouped the 15 original entities into six larger municipalities. In two steps, 1969 and 1971 they were amalgamated to form the present municipality. The most common housing category is one-family houses. There are local ''pågatåg'' trains connecting Teckomatorp, in the south of the municipality, with Malmö, Lund and Helsingborg. To get to the town of Svalöv, one can take a bus (approximately 15 minutes) from Teckomatorp. The villages Röstånga, Kågeröd, Teckomatorp, Svalöv itself and parts of Söderåsen National Park are located in the municipality. The villages are all connected via local buses. The Order of the White Rose of Finland (; ) is one of three official orders in Finland, along with the Order of the Cross of Liberty, and the Order of the Lion of Finland. The Order of the Dannebrog () is a Denmark, Danish order of chivalry instituted in 1671 by Christian V of Denmark, Christian V. Until 1808, membership in the Order was limited to fifty members of noble or royal rank, who formed a single class known as ''White Knights'' to distinguish them from the ''Blue Knights'' who were members of the Order of the Elephant. The Royal Order of Knights of Sweden were only truly codified in the 18th century, with their formal foundation in 1748 by Frederick I of Sweden. Significant reforms in 1974 changed the conditions and criteria under which many orders and decorations could be awarded.
