Gus Scott-Morriss
Gus Scott-Morriss (born 8 May 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a right wingback for club Southend United. Career Royston Town Scott-Morriss played for Royston Town up until 2021. Hemel Hempstead Scott-Morriss joined Hemel Hempstead Town up until 2022 and made over 40 appearances for the club. Southend United Scott-Morriss was the fourth player to join Kevin Maher's side. His first appearance was against Eastleigh on 27 August 2022. Gus played 35 games in his first season with Southend United and scored 5 goals. On 16 December 2023, Scott-Morriss had to take over as goalkeeper after the Blues' goalkeeper had come off injured and there were no substitute goalkeepers available for the match. He was said to have made a key save during the match but lost the match 2–1 to Bromley at the final whistle. Herts Charity Cup
The Herts Charity Cup, officially titled the Hertfordshire Football Association Charity Cup, was begun in the 1900–01 season as a fund raising competition for the chosen charities of the Hertfordshire County Football Association. It is second only in status to the Herts Senior Cup within the competitions run by the Herts FA and is the third longest running, following the Herts Senior Cup (1886–87) and the Herts Junior Cup (1894–95). The 2021–22 National League season, known as the Vanarama National League for sponsorship reasons, was the seventh season as English football's National League, the eightteenth season consisting of three divisions, and the forty-third season overall. Due to the curtailment of the preceding season for North and South and lower levels of competition in the English football pyramid, promotion and relegation between levels 5 and 6, and between level 6 and lower levels were suspended. The 2020–21 Southern Football League season was the 118th in the history of the Southern League since its establishment in 1894. The league has two Premier divisions (Central and South) at Step 3 of the National League System (NLS) and two Division One divisions (Central and South) at Step 4.
