Guru Logi Champ
is a puzzle game by the Japanese developer Compile (publisher), Compile. The game was released in 2001 for the Game Boy Advance handheld game system. "Guru Logi" is an abbreviation of "Guruguru Logic", "guruguru" (ぐるぐる) being a Japanese language, Japanese onomatopoeia for a rotating motion. The game itself is best compared to ''Picross'' and ''Magical Drop''. Similar to ''Picross'', a board consisting of a set of blocks creates an image. Similar to ''Magical Drop'', gameplay involves throwing blocks vertically into the play area and sucking them back off again. According to late-2001 GameSpot ads, the game was scheduled to be released in the United States on December 22, 2001, but this was scrapped due to a poor Japanese-to-English translation. Compile (publisher)
was a Japanese video game developer, most notable for having developed the ''Puyo Puyo'' series, a franchise derived from the '' Madō Monogatari'' series. On 6 November 2003, the company suffered from bankruptcy. As a result, key staff moved to Compile Heart, the company's spiritual successor, whereas shoot-'em-up staff moved to MileStone Inc. The Compile trademark is being used as a brand label by Compile Heart to promote merchandise and games based on Compile properties. As of 2010, Compile Heart entered into a licensing deal with D4 Enterprise to create new video games based on franchises from Compile properties. This agreement does not affect the rights to the ''Puyo Puyo'' series as Sega retains ownership of the property. In April 2016, Niitani started a new successor company to Compile, Compile Maru. DSiWare
This is a list of games and applications, collectively known as DSiWare, for the Nintendo DSi handheld game console, available for download via the DSi Shop and unplayable on earlier DS models. An update released for the Nintendo 3DS in June 2011 added support for the Nintendo eShop service, which contained the DSi Shop's full library of DSiWare games (at the time) with the exception of certain games and applications. There were over 200 downloadable games available in North America as of August 2010.
