Guro Reiten
Guro Reiten (born 26 July 1994) is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a winger for English club Chelsea and the Norway national team. Before joining Chelsea in 2019, she played in Norway for Sunndal, Kattem, Trondheims-Ørn, and LSK Kvinner. She made her debut for Norway in 2014 and appeared with the team at the UEFA European Championship 2017, 2019 FIFA World Cup, and UEFA European Championship 2022. Club career Sunndal Born in Sunndalsøra, Møre og Romsdal, Reiten grew up in the village of Nordmøre and began her senior career with her local side Sunndal, then in the second division of the Norwegian football. Kattem At age 16, Reiten joined Toppserien side Kattem in 2011. The 2011 Toppserien was the twenty-fifth season of top-tier women's football in Norway since its establishment in 1987. A total of twelve teams contested the league, consisting of ten who competed in the previous season and two promoted from the 1. divisjon. The season started on 2 April 2011 and will end on 29 October 2011. Changes from 2010 * Norway overtook Iceland in the UEFA coefficient rankings for eighth spot in the 2012–13 European season. Thus Norway gains a second entry for the Champions League which is naturally given to the season's runner-up. 2022 Oslo Shooting
On 25 June 2022, two people were killed and twenty-one people were wounded in a mass shooting in Oslo, Norway. Police are treating the incident as an "act of Islamist terrorism". The target may have been the Oslo LGBTQ pride event, which was hosted by the local branch of the Norwegian Organisation for Sexual and Gender Diversity. Police arrested Zaniar Matapour, a Norwegian citizen from Sanandaj, Iran, who lived in Norway since 1991. They later confirmed that they had known of Matapour since 2015, saying that he had been radicalized into Islamic extremism. 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup Squads
The 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup was an international women's association football tournament held in France from 7 June until 7 July 2019. The 24 national teams involved in the tournament were required to register a squad of 23 players, including three goalkeepers. Only players in these squads were eligible to take part in the tournament. A provisional list of between 23 and 50 players per national team was submitted to FIFA by 26 April 2019, which was not published. The 2019 Algarve Cup was the 26th edition of the Algarve Cup, an invitational women's football tournament held annually in Portugal. It took place from 27 February to 6 March. The Women's Super League (WSL), currently known as the Barclays Women's Super League (BWSL) for sponsorship reasons, is the highest league of women's football in England.
