Guiyi Town
Guiyi () (Kweiyi) is a town and the seat of Miluo City in Hunan Hunan (, ; ) is a landlocked province of the People's Republic of China, part of the South Central China region. Located in the middle reaches of the Yangtze watershed, it borders the province-level divisions of Hubei to the north, Jiangxi ..., China. The town was reformed through the amalgamation of ''Chengjiao Township'' () and ''Chengguan Town'' () on December 3, 2015. Guiyi Circuit
The Guiyi Circuit, also known as the Guiyi Army (, 848–1036 AD), was a Chinese regional military command and later an autonomous regime nominally subordinate to the Tang dynasty, the Five Dynasties, and the Northern Song dynasty. The Guiyi Circuit was controlled by the Zhang family from the second half of the 8th century to the 10th century and then the Cao family until the 11th century. The Guiyi Circuit was headquartered in Shazhou (沙州) (modern Dunhuang). Background The Hexi Corridor was an important part of the Silk Road, connecting Central Asia with Northwest China. Miluo () is a county-level city in Hunan province, China, it is under the administration of the prefecture-level city of Yueyang. The city is located on the northeast of the province and on the eastern bank of the Xiang River, it is to the north of the city proper of Changsha City.
