Guitar Mashing
''Guitar Mashing'' is the second studio album produced by session guitarist and multi instrumentalist and composer Tim Scott, first released on 26 November 2008. The album artwork features a fictional dictionary definition for the term ''Guitar Mashing'' which was in part derived from the official Oxford English Dictionary definitions for the words '' Guitar'' and '' Mash'' but heavily distorted for use as a propaganda tool to assist in marketing the album's unusual genre. Tim Scott (guitarist)
Timothy Scott is an instrumental recording artist primarily known for his solo instrumental guitar compositions. Early life Scott was born and brought up in Hazel Grove, a suburb of Stockport, England. He attended Hazel Grove High School and Salford College of Music, but "dropped out before he got kicked out", finding that he could not cope with the written work due to his dyslexia. He later studied for a diploma at The Guitar Institute, London (now known as The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance). Music career Scott's recording career began in 2003 when he self-released his debut album '' Bald on the Inside'', distributing it and performing live sets in Borders Books & Music Stores across the UK. The album peaked inside their top 200 sellers list and received generally positive reviews. ''City Life'' was a Manchester-based news, arts and listings magazine that was published between December 1983 and December 2005. It was a distinctive blend of radical politics and coverage of the increasingly exciting Manchester youth culture scene of the early 1980s, coinciding with the rise of Factory Records and The Haçienda. The Wonderland Gang was a group of drug dealers involved in the Los Angeles cocaine trade during the late 1970s and early 1980s; their home base was located on Wonderland Avenue in the Laurel Canyon section of Los Angeles, California. Abbey Road Studios (formerly EMI Recording Studios) is a recording studio at 3 Abbey Road, St John's Wood, City of Westminster, London, England. It was established in November 1931 by the Gramophone Company, a predecessor of British music company EMI, which owned it until Universal Music Group (UMG) took control of part of it in 2013. Guitar
The guitar is a fretted musical instrument that typically has six strings. It is usually held flat against the player's body and played by strumming or plucking the strings with the dominant hand, while simultaneously pressing selected strings against frets with the fingers of the opposite hand.
