Guido Rings
Guido Rings is Professor of Postcolonial Studies, director of the Research Unit for Intercultural and Transcultural Studies (RUITS), and Course Leader for the MA Intercultural Communication at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, United Kingdom. He was previously Reader in Intercultural Studies and Head of Modern Foreign Languages at the same institution, and he was Visiting Professor for Romance Literature and Film at the University of Düsseldorf and the University of Bayreuth, Germany. Professor Rings is also co-editor of ''German as a Foreign Language'' (GFL) and ''Interdisciplinary Mexico'' (iMex), the first fully refereed internet journals in Europe for their respective fields. He is member of the Higher Education Academy (HEA). Jacob Lukas Anderson (born April 29, 1984), better known by his stage name Prof, is an American rapper, singer, and producer based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He released his first full-length album, ''Project Gampo'', in 2007 and has since released six additional albums and three EPs. In 2012, ''City Pages'' named Prof on their list of Minnesota's 20 best rappers. He was formerly signed to Rhymesayers Entertainment. Early life Jacob "Jake" Anderson was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and grew up in the city's Powderhorn, Minneapolis, Powderhorn neighborhood. Zapatist
The Zapatista Army of National Liberation (, EZLN), often referred to as the Zapatistas (), is a far-left political and militant group that controls a substantial amount of territory in Chiapas, the southernmost state of Mexico. Since 1994, the group has been nominally at war with the Mexican state (although it may be described at this point as a frozen conflict). The EZLN used a strategy of civil resistance. The Zapatistas' main body is made up of mostly rural indigenous people, but it includes some supporters in urban areas and internationally. The EZLN's main spokesperson is Subcomandante Insurgente Galeano, previously known as Subcomandante Marcos.
