Guido Karp
Guido Karp (born 23 January 1963) is a German music photographer. Biography Karp was born in Mayen and grew up in Koblenz. Even as a schoolboy, he took photos of artists and concerts for the school newspaper of the Eichendorff-Gymnasium. The photo of the German comedian Otto Waalkes was his first published in the Rhein-Zeitung paper in 1976. A year later, several photos of the then 14-year-old were part of a group exhibition in the Liebfrauenkirche in Koblenz. The advertising photographer Hans Joachim Bischoff became Karp's mentor at this time. In 1978 Karp had his first own exhibition at "Le Café" in Boppard. He made his first record cover for Thomas Anders' record "Ich will nicht Dein Leben" (I do not want your life)". Genesis (band)
Genesis are an English rock band formed at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, in 1967. The band's most commercially successful line-up consisted of keyboardist Tony Banks, bassist/guitarist Mike Rutherford and drummer/singer Phil Collins. The 1970s line-up, featuring singer Peter Gabriel and guitarist Steve Hackett, was among the pioneers of progressive rock. The group were formed by five Charterhouse pupils, including Banks, Rutherford, Gabriel, and Anthony Phillips, and named by former Charterhouse pupil Jonathan King, who arranged for them to record several singles and their debut album '' From Genesis to Revelation'' in 1968. Spandau Ballet () were an English new wave band formed in Islington, London, in 1979. Inspired by the capital's post-punk underground dance scene, they emerged at the start of the 1980s as the house band for the Blitz Kids, playing "European Dance Music" as "The Applause" for this new club culture's audience. ''"Robbie Williams: Live at the Albert"'' is a DVD that was released in December 2001 of the show performed on 10 October 2001; concert that Robbie Williams gave at Royal Albert Hall a month before the release of the album Swing When You're Winning. It has since been certified 6× Platinum in the United Kingdom and 2× Platinum in Germany. Rammstein (, "ramming stone") is a German Neue Deutsche Härte band formed in Berlin in 1994. The band's lineup—consisting of lead vocalist Till Lindemann, lead guitarist Richard Kruspe, rhythm guitarist Paul Landers, bassist Oliver Riedel, drummer Christoph Schneider, and keyboardist Christian "Flake" Lorenz—has remained unchanged throughout their history, along with their approach to songwriting, which consists of Lindemann writing and singing the lyrics over instrumental pieces the rest of the band has completed beforehand. Prior to their formation, some members were associated with the punk rock acts Feeling B and First Arsch. HiM (American Band)
HiM is a dub influenced post-rock group formed in 1995 by Doug Scharin, drummer for the bands Codeine, Rex and June of 44. Their first album, ''Egg'', was their most dub-based effort. Each successive album has gone more in a quasi- world music direction. After some recording for ''Crooklyn Dub Consortium'' and Wordsound, ''Interpretive Belief System'', HiM settled on a lineup of Scharin with Bundy K. Brown, Rob Mazurek and Jeff Parker, members or occasional members of Tortoise and Isotope 217. Their first album was the underground hit ''Sworn Eyes'', produced by Doug Scharin. A few personnel changes followed, and the revamped lineup including members of June of 44.
