Guan Xia
Guan Xia () (born June 30, 1957) is a Chinese composer of contemporary classical music. Guan was born in Kaifeng, and graduated from the China Central Conservatory in 1985. He has been the director of the China National Symphony Orchestra until 2018 and involved in a number of Chinese national committees working with musicians. His important works include the operas ''Sorrowful Dawn'' and ''Mulan Psalm'', several symphonies, ''Earth Requiem'', a piano concerto, and the ''Symphonic Overture No. 1'' (also known as ''Symphonic Ballade‘Sorrowful Dawn’''), which is very popular in the concerts in China. I Love My Family
''I Love My Family'' () is a Chinese sitcom. It was China's first multi-camera sitcom and it originally aired from 1993 to 1994 with a total of 120 episodes. It is also the first Mandarin-language sitcom. It was directed by Ying Da and Lin Cong and written primarily by Liang Zuo and Wang Shuo. It was produced by Beijing Red Green Blue TV and Commercials Center. ''I Love My Family'' is notable for being the first and one of the very few Chinese multi-camera sitcoms to be performed in front of a live audience, with the other being 1998's ''Chinese Restaurant'', also helmed by Ying. It was inspired by the popularity of Mandarin-dubbed episodes of ''Growing Pains'' as well as the family-centered premise. A piano concerto, a type of concerto, is a solo composition in the classical music genre which is composed for piano accompanied by an orchestra or other large ensemble. Piano concertos are typically virtuosic showpieces which require an advanced level of technique. Piano concertos are typically written out in music notation, including sheet music for the pianist (which is typically memorized for a more virtuosic performance), orchestral parts, and a full score for the conductor. The standard practice in the Baroque and Classical eras (together spanning from circa 1600 to circa 1800), was for the orchestra to provide subordinate accompaniment over which the piano plays solo parts. Symphony
A symphony is an extended musical composition in Western classical music, most often for orchestra.
