Wynetal
The Wyna (or Wyne) is a river located mostly in canton of Aargau, but also in canton of Lucerne, Switzerland and runs through the ''Wynetal'' (the Wyne Valley). It is a tributary of the Suhre. The Wyna is 32 km long (main outflow in Reinach, Aargau, Reinach (AG): 0.9 m3/s). Larger towns in Wynetal are Beromünster, Menziken, Reinach, Aargau, Reinach (AG) and Gränichen. Hunzenschwil
Hunzenschwil is a municipality in the district of Lenzburg in the canton of Aargau in Switzerland. History Under the Romans, the area that would become Hunzenschwil was an extensive brickyard. The modern village of Hunzenschwil was first mentioned in 1101 as ''Hintziswil''. In 1201, it was mentioned as ''Hunzeliswilre''. In the 14th century, the Habsburgs had the high court rights over the village, and in 1415 these rights went to Bern. The low court right was held by various owners before 1412 when it went to the Habsburg appointed Vogt at Lenzburg. In 1433, the low court rights went to Bern, and then in 1550 Hunzenschwil joined with Niederlenz, Rupperswil and Staufen to form an independent lower court. Religiously, this area belongs to the parish of Suhr, but it has had its own church since 1960. Wynentalbahn
The Wynental and Suhrental Railway (WSB) (, WSB) was a privately owned railway company in the canton of Aargau in Switzerland. It was formed by the merger of the Aarau-Schöftland Railway (, AS) with the Wynental Railway (, WTB) in 1958. It in turn merged with BDWM Transport in 2018 to form Aargau Verkehr (AVA). The company owned and operated the Menziken–Aarau–Schöftland railway line, a metre gauge railway line from Menziken to Schöftland via Aarau. The line continues to run, under the ownership of Aargau Verkehr. Unterkulm
Unterkulm is a municipality in the district of Kulm in the canton of Aargau in Switzerland. History Both Roman ruins near the church and late-Roman coins at Sonnenhof indicate that the area near Unterkulm was settled during the Roman era. However, Unterkulm is first mentioned in 1045 as ''Chulenbare'' though this is for both Unterkulm and Oberkulm. In 1303 it was mentioned as ''ze Nideren-Kulme'' which is the first mention of Unterkulm individually. Schafisheim
Schafisheim is a municipality in the district of Lenzburg in the canton of Aargau in Switzerland. History Evidence of earlier settlements near Schafisheim include urn graves of the Hallstatt period and a Roman era farm. The modern village of Schafisheim is first mentioned around 1261–64 as ''Scafusa''. The high court right was held by the Habsburgs, and then from 1415 by Bern. A farm owned by Murbach Abbey had the '' Twinggericht'' (low justice and property rights) over the village, which was held until 1482.
