''Grypothrix'' is a small genus of ferns in the family Thelypteridaceae. Taxonomy ''Grypothrix'' was previously sunk into ''Pronephrium'' but was restored as a full genus as a result of a Phylogenetics, phylogenetic study of the family Thelypteridaceae.
