Grup Gündoğarken ( English: ''Group While Sunrises'') was a Turkish popular music group. The group was founded by İlhan Şeşen in 1983. Other members of the group were Gökhan Şeşen and Burhan Şeşen, both of which are his nephews. Folk Rock
Folk rock is a fusion genre of rock music with heavy influences from pop, English and American folk music. It arose in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom in the mid-1960s. Anatolian Rock
Anatolian rock (), or Turkish psychedelic rock, is a fusion of Turkish folk music and rock. It emerged during the mid-1960s, soon after rock groups became popular in Turkey. İlhan Şeşen (18 June 1948 – 26 May 2025) was a Turkish musician, songwriter, and actor. Biography İlhan Şeşen was born on 18 June 1948 in Manisa. Şeşen started his music life in 1968. In 1971, he released an album named "Kavga". In 1983, he founded Grup Gündoğarken with Gökhan and Burhan Şeşen. In 2001, Şeşen released his second solo album, named "Neler Oluyor Bize?". After that, in 2003, Şeşen released "Ben Bu Şarkıları Kime Söyleyeyim?". After the release of this album, he took a role in the TRT TV show Mühürlü Güller. In 2004, he took a role in famous TV show Aliye. In 2005, he released his fourth album, "Aşk Yalan". In 2007, he continued his TV career with several additional TV shows. Famous song of Leman Sam, named "Rüzgar" is one of the songs written by İlhan Şeşen. Şeşen died of lung cancer on 26 May 2025, at the age of 76. Levent Kırca
Zeki Levent Kırca (September 28, 1950 – October 12, 2015) was a Turkish comedian, stage and film actor, columnist of the newspaper ''Aydınlık'' and politician of the left-wing Patriotic Party ().1986 sketch series Olacak O Kadar, which he produced, wrote, directed, and acted in together with his wife for years. He played in the film with veteran actors Şener Şen, Nevra Serezli, Perran Kutman. Kırca was born in Samsun on September 28, 1950. Kırca was a faculty member at Beykent University, Faculty of Fine Arts. He was named a State Artist in 1998, following a suggestion put forward by the 55th government of Turkey, however, the title was taken back by the 62nd government. Osman Ferhan Şensoy (26 February 1951 – 31 August 2021) was a Turkish actor, playwright and director. Private life Şensoy was born in Çarşamba district of Samsun Province in northern Turkey on 26 February 1951. After attending Galatasaray High School some time, he finished Çarşamba High School in 1970. In 1988, he married stage and film actress Derya Baykal (born 1957).
