Marcha (born Margaretha Hendrika Maria Groeneveld on 2 July 1956), also known as Marga Bult, is a Dutch singer and television presenter, who has been a member of the groups Tulip, Babe and Dutch Divas and is also known for her participation in the 1987 Eurovision Song Contest. Tulip and Babe In 1979, Marcha joined forces with former Teach-In singer Marianne Wolsink to form the duo Tulip. They had only released two singles however when, in 1981, Marcha was chosen from over 200 candidates as the replacement for the departing lead singer Gemma van Eck in girl group Babe, who had established themselves since 1979 as regular chart performers, with six top 30 singles in the Netherlands. Known as Marga Bult during this time, she recorded two albums and 14 singles with Babe, and toured extensively across Europe and Asia, before the group disbanded in June 1986. Anna-Lena Grönefeld (also spelled Groenefeld; born 4 June 1985) is a German former professional tennis player. Competing as a professional from 2003 until 2019, she won one singles title on the WTA Tour, at the 2006 Mexican Open, and reached the quarterfinals of the 2006 French Open. She is a two-time Grand Slam champion in mixed doubles, having won the 2009 Wimbledon Championships alongside Mark Knowles, and the 2014 French Open with Jean-Julien Rojer. Grönefeld also finished runner-up in mixed doubles at the 2016 Wimbledon Championships and 2017 French Open. In women's doubles, Grönefeld won 17 titles on WTA Tour, most notably the 2005 Rogers Cup with Martina Navratilova, and reached seven Grand Slam semifinals. Sara M. Groenevelt (died October 31, 1899) was a litterateur and classical musician. Both her daughters became professional musicians as well. Early life Sara Groenevelt was born on the "Bon Dieu", a cotton plantation of her uncle, F. G. Bartlett, which was romantically situated on a bend of the Red river called Bon Dieu, near Natchitoches, Louisiana. She was the daughter of Dr. Sylvanus Bartlett, of Maine, and Julia Finch Gresham, of Kentucky. Groenevelt was a cousin of Ben Washington, the journalist "Perley Poore". At the age of fifteen she graduated from the girl's high school of New Orleans. Reinier Van Oldenbarnevelt
Reinier van Oldenbarnevelt, lord of Groeneveld, (also known as ''Reinier van Groeneveld'') (c. 1588 – 29 March 1623) was a Dutch political figure. He was born in Rotterdam, the son of Johan van Oldenbarnevelt. In 1607, he visited Paris with his brother Willem van Oldenbarnevelt as part of their Grand tour, and they were received at the court of king Henry IV of France. He married Anna Weytsen, lady of Brandwijk and Gijbeland, in Delft in 1608. They had three children; Jacoba Francina (1610), Johan (1612) and Jacob van Oldenbarnevelt (1614). Reinier became forester of Holland and lived in the Slot Teylingen at Voorhout. After the execution of his father in 1619, Reinier conspired with his brother Willem van Oldenbarnevelt and amongst others the Remonstrant preacher Hendrick Danielsz Slatius to assassinate stadtholder Maurice of Orange. Phil Groeneveld (born September 18, 1974) is a Canadian- Dutch retired professional ice hockey goaltender. He last played for HC Alleghe in Italy's Serie A league, and retired in 2009. Career Born in Oshawa, Ontario, Groeneveld has played for clubs in France, the Netherlands, and Italy. A , goaltender, Groeneveld attended Ohio State University for a brief time however began his pro career in the United States in 1995 with the Wichita Thunder. Later in the same season he joined the Fort Worth Fire, also of the CHL where he scored the first ever goalie goal in league history. The following season he joined French club Viry-Châtillon EH where he remained for two years before joining a second French team, Rouen HE 76, for whom he played the next four seasons where he won two championships, two top goaltender awards and scored another goalie goal. John Groenveldt or Greenfield, M.D. (1647?-1710?), was a physician. Education and early career Groenveldt, born about 1647, was a native of Deventer in Holland. He was educated partly in Holland and then under Franciscus Zypæus (the younger) at Louvain, and in Paris. On 13 September 1667 he was entered as a medical student at Leyden, but graduated M.D. at Utrecht on 18 March 1670. His thesis, ''De Calculo Vesicæ'' (Utrecht, 1670), was translated into English and published in London in 1677, and with large additions in 1710.
