Grizfolk is an American alternative rock band consisting of Adam Roth (lead vocals, guitar), and Bill Delia (drums). Based in Nashville, Grizfolk released their debut EP, ''From the Spark'', in February 2014. Their debut full-length studio album, ''Waking Up the Giants'', was released January 8, 2016. History Formation Grizfolk formed in Los Angeles when Swedish producers Fredrik Eriksson and Sebastian Fritze met singer-songwriter Adam Roth in 2012, who were joined by Brendan Willing James and Bill Delia later that year. Initially, the group was called Griz Adams, but they quickly changed their name to Grizfolk after their demo for the song "The Struggle" went viral on the Internet, "something that better reflected what's supported us", Fritze explained. Nettwerk Music Group is an independent record label founded in 1984. The Vancouver-based company was created by principals Terry McBride and Mark Jowett as a record label to distribute recordings by the band Moev, but the label expanded in Canada and internationally. Initially specializing in electronic music including alternative dance and industrial, the label expanded its roster to include pop, rock and numerous singer-songwriters in the late 1980s and 1990s. Early artists included Coldplay, Sarah McLachlan, and Barenaked Ladies. In 2023, Nettwerk recapitalized to invest in catalog acquisitions and artist investments. Bastille (band)
Bastille are an English indie pop band formed in 2010. The group began as a solo project by lead vocalist Dan Smith (singer), Dan Smith, but later expanded to include keyboardist Kyle Simmons, bassist and guitarist Will Farquarson and drummer Chris "Woody" Wood. After an independently released debut single and a self-released EP, the band signed to Virgin Records. The Triple Door
The Triple Door is a dinner theater, lounge and music venue founded in the fall of 2003, located at 216 Union Street in Seattle, Washington. The building often hosts concerts for folk, indie, and World music groups. The Triple Door is also notable for the numerous effective fundraisers it has held such as the Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation and The Triple Door Young Artists Fundraiser. One fundraiser had an auction that raised around 1.15 million dollars for various children organizations.
