Grindeanu Cabinet
The Grindeanu cabinet was the 126th government of Romania which was formed after the 2016 legislative election. It was led by Sorin Grindeanu, who assumed office as Prime Minister on 4 January up until the end of his term on 29 June 2017. Teodor Meleșcanu
Teodor Viorel Meleșcanu (; born 10 March 1941) is a Romanian politician, diplomat, and jurist. He served as Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Romania (SIE) between 2012 and 2014. He was a three times senator on behalf of the National Liberal Party (PNL), Minister of Defense between 2007 and 2008, and Minister of Foreign Affairs between 1992 and 1996, in November 2014 and since January 2017 to July 2019. On 27 February 2012, upon his appointment as head of the SIE, he suspended himself from PNL and was later expelled from the party. On 10 September 2019, he was elected President of the Senate. Viorel Ștefan (born 26 July 1954) is a Romanian politician and economist who has served as a Member of the European Court of Auditors for Romania since 2019. He previously served as Deputy Prime Minister of Romania from 2018 to 2019 and as Minister of Public Finance from January to June 2017. Carmen Daniela Dan (born 9 October 1970) is a Romanian politician. She served in the Senate of Romania from 2016 to 2020 representing the Social Democratic Party.
