Lucky Grills
Leo Dennis Grills (26 May 1928 – 27 July 2007), known professionally as Lucky Grills, was an Australian actor and comedian. His best known acting role was in the crime drama TV series '' Bluey'' playing the title role, and later parodied in Bargearse. Grills took his professionally working name after the Italian-American gangster Lucky Luciano. Grills is credited for initiating the ''Mo Awards'', an awards show that celebrate Australian Variety in 1975. Early life Grills was born on Johnson Street in Moonah, a suburb of Hobart, Tasmania, on 26 May 1928, to Francis Leonard Grills and Hilda May (née Dennis). He was the youngest of five siblings, who were Thelda Jean, Raymond Ernest, Eunice and Faye Grills. Dave Grills
Dave Grills (born 12 April 1959) is an Australian politician. He was elected to the Western Australian Legislative Council as a Nationals member for Mining and Pastoral Region at the 2013 state election. He was defeated at the 2017 state election. He is running to regain his old seat at the 2021 state election with the Western Australia Party. Although scheduled to take his seat on 22 May 2013, he was elected in a recount on 5 April to the vacancy caused by the resignation of Wendy Duncan to contest the Legislative Assembly seat of Kalgoorlie. Grills was born in Birmingham, England and arrived in Western Australia in 1965. Prior to his election, he was a Kalgoorlie-based police officer and served for a period as the Goldfields-Esperance District Crime Prevention and Diversity Officer. Caroline Grills
Caroline Grills (née Mickelson; between 1888 and 1890 – 6 October 1960) was an Australian serial killer who poisoned her victims. She was predominantly a comfort killer, who murdered well-off members of her extended family to maintain a respectable lifestyle, but her later murders had more unclear motives. Biography Caroline Michelson was the daughter of Mary Preiers and George Michelson in Balmain, Sydney, and born between 1888 and 1890. She married Richard William Grills on 22 April 1908, with whom she had four sons. She first became a murder suspect in 1947 after the deaths of four family members: her 87-year-old stepmother Christine Mickelson; relatives by marriage Angelina Thomas and John Lundberg; and sister in law Mary Anne Mickelson. Lee Grills
Lee Elgy Grills (20 April 1904 – 3 November 1982) was a Progressive Conservative party member of the House of Commons of Canada. He was a dairy farmer and proprietor by career. He was born in Belleville, Ontario. Grills was a member of Sidney Township council starting in 1946. He became deputy reeve of that municipality in 1949 and reeve in 1951. In 1952, he was warden of Hastings County, leaving municipal politics later that year. He first campaigned for a seat in the House of Commons in the 1953 federal election at the Hastings South riding, but was unsuccessful then. He won the seat on his second attempt in the 1957 election, defeating incumbent Frank Follwell. Grills was re-elected in 1958 and 1962, defeated in 1963 by Liberal candidate Robert Temple, then returned to Parliament in the 1965 election.
