Grey Goose (band)
Kaleb Stewart (June 9, 1975 – March 25, 2021) was an American musician, vocalist, songwriter and former skateboarder. Originally from Talkeetna, Alaska, Talkeetna, Alaska, he moved around in his childhood before settling in Tampa, Florida as a teenager, and later made his home in Gainesville, Florida, Gainesville, Florida. While in Gainesville, he notably played bass guitar and provided backing vocals in the melodic hardcore band As Friends Rust from 1998 to 2000, and in the hardcore punk band Bridgeburne R from 1999 to 2000 (both with lead vocalist Damien Moyal). Stewart took part of As Friends Rust's reunion in 2008, and remained with the band until 2019. Prior to joining As Friends Rust, Stewart had a short-lived professional skateboarding career, sang in the post-punk band The Sarx and the punk rock band Southpaw (both based in Tampa), and played bass guitar in the Gainesville punk rock band Sissy. ''The Gainesville Sun'' () is a newspaper published daily in Gainesville, Florida, United States, covering the North-Central portion of the state. History The paper was founded in July 1876 as the ''Gainesville Times'', by brothers E. M. and William Wade Hampton, and was renamed as ''The Gainesville Sun'' in February 1879. The paper was first printed on July 6, 1876. Kaleb (, Latin: Caleb), also known as Elesbaan (, ), was King of Aksum, which was situated in what is now Ethiopia and Eritrea. Name Procopius calls him "Hellestheaeus," a variant of the Greek version of his regnal name, (''Histories'', 1.20). Hot Water Music is an American punk rock band formed in October 1994 and based in Gainesville, Florida. Since their formation, the group has consisted of Chuck Ragan and Chris Wollard on shared lead vocals and guitars, bass guitarist Jason Black, and drummer George Rebelo. Chris Wollard
Chris Wollard (born 1975) is an American singer and musician. He is best known as the vocalist and guitarist of the post-hardcore band Hot Water Music, which he co-founded with co-vocalist and co-guitarist Chuck Ragan, drummer George Rebelo and bass guitarist Jason Black in October 1994. He is also the lead vocalist and guitarist in the punk rock band The Draft, and the acoustic guitarist of the acoustic-folk band Rumbleseat. In 2000, Wollard formed a new punk rock band, The Sheryl Cro(w) Mags (later renamed Cro(w)s), with ex-As Friends Rust and Bridgeburne R bass guitarist and close friend Kaleb Stewart. The Fest
The Fest is an annual music festival in Gainesville, Florida, United States, which takes place on the weekend of the Florida–Georgia football game (around Halloween). Originally organized by Tony Weinbender, formerly of No Idea Records, it predominantly features punk rock, hardcore punk, and pop-punk artists, though there are also numerous indie rock, metalcore, Heavy metal music, metal, and ska bands. History The first The Fest festival took place on May 24–25, 2002, but starting with The Fest II, it was moved to the weekend of October 17–18, 2003.
