Gretchen Gotay
Gretchen Gotay Cordero (born August 14, 1980) is a Puerto Rican former swimmer, who specialized in freestyle and backstroke events. She won a total of four medals (2 golds and 2 bronze) in both freestyle and medley relays at the Central American and Caribbean Games (1998, 2002, and 2006). She is a member of Athens Bulldogs Swim Club under her personal coach Harvey Humphries, and a graduate with a master's degree in sports management at the University of Georgia in Athens. Gotay qualified for the women's 200 m backstroke, as a member of the Puerto Rico team, at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. She posted a meet-record and a FINA B-standard of 2:19.89 from the Caribbean Championships in Kingston, Jamaica. 2004 Summer Olympics
The 2004 Summer Olympics ( el, Θερινοί Ολυμπιακοί Αγώνες 2004, ), officially the Games of the XXVIII Olympiad ( el, Αγώνες της 28ης Ολυμπιάδας, ) and also known as Athens 2004 ( el, Αθήνα 2004), were an international multi-sport event held from 13 to 29 August 2004 in Athens, Greece. Sherry Tsai (; born 4 September 1983) is a retired swimmer from Hong Kong. She competed at the 2000, 2004 and 2008 Olympics in the 50 m freestyle, 100 m and 200 m backstroke, and 200 m individual medley (six events in total), with the best achievement of 28th place. She attended and swam for the University of California, Berkeley in the USA. She won Hong Kong's Best Swimmer Award 4 years-in-a-row (1998–2001), and at one time held 14 Hong Kong Records. Saida Iskandarova ( uz, Саида Искандарова; born March 12, 1980) is an Uzbek former swimmer who specialized in backstroke, but also competed in sprint freestyle. She is a two-time Olympian (2000 and 2004), and currently the head coach for the Uzbekistan National Swimming Team. Iskandarova made her Olympic debut, as Uzbekistan's first ever female swimmer, at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, where she competed in the women's 50 m freestyle. Swimming in heat four, she picked up a sixth seed and fifty-fifth overall by 0.23 of a second behind Moldova's Maria Tregubova in 27.75.
