Gretchen Baer (born 1963, in Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts) is an American painter and performance artist living in Bisbee, Arizona. Baer is known for painting mile-long murals on the southern side of the US-Mexico border fence in collaboration with a group of Mexican children known as the "Border Bedazzlers." Oak Bluffs is a town located on the island of Martha's Vineyard in Dukes County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 5,341 at the 2020 United States Census. It is one of the island's principal points of arrival for summer tourists, and is noted for its "gingerbread cottages" and other well-preserved mid- to late-nineteenth-century buildings. Bisbee is a city in and the county seat of Cochise County in southeastern Arizona, United States. It is southeast of Tucson and north of the Mexican border. According to the 2020 census, the population of the town was 4,923, down from 5,575 in the 2010 census.
