Gregory Kirchhoff
Gregory Kirchhoff (born June 18, 1992) is a German screenwriter, director and producer. Career Kirchhoff wrote his first screenplay, ''Dusky Paradise'', at the age of 21. He launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter in May 2014, which raised £18,450 to produce the film. In 2015, the ''Filmförderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein'' ( de) funded the project with an additional €14,000 for post-production. Dusky Paradise premiered at the International Festival of Independent Cinema PKO Off Camera in Krakow, as part of the main competition "Making Way" on April 29, 2016, and was nominated for the Krakow Film Award. Besides further international nominations, ''Dusky Paradise'' got nominated for the Discovery Award for best debut feature at the 2016 Raindance Film Festival and won the Evolutionary Island Award at the Evolution Mallorca International Film Festival. Dieter "Didi" Hallervorden (born 5 September 1935) is a German comedian, actor, singer, and cabaret artist. The Hof International Filmfestival is a German film festival that takes place in Hof, Bavaria, every year in October. Apart from numerous foreign productions, the main focus traditionally is on German films. During six festival days, about 130 films (80 feature and documentary films as well as 50 short films) are shown in 8 theaters of 2 cinema centers, adding up to a total of 200 individual film presentations.
