Gregorio Ordóñez
Gregorio Ordóñez Fenollar (21 July 1958 – 23 January 1995) was a Spanish People's Party (Spain), People's Party (PP) politician in the Basque Country (autonomous community), Basque Country. He was elected to the City Council in San Sebastián in 1983 and the Basque Parliament in 1990. He became deputy mayor of the city in 1991 and was running for mayor in the 1995 election when he was assassinated by ETA (separatist group), ETA. Biography Ordóñez was born in Caracas, Venezuela, to Spanish parents who had emigrated in the late 1940s. His paternal grandfather was killed by communists in 1936 during the Spanish Civil War, and his parents met when his 13-year-old orphan father was moved from Teruel to Terrateig in the Province of Valencia. New Generations Of The People's Party (Spain)
New Generations of the People's Party (, NNGG) is the youth wing of the People's Party. It operates in all Spain and also has structures in other countries. They share the same ideological platform of the PP: a centre-right ideology and economic liberalism, according to their own organisation, reformist centre. Miguel Ángel Blanco Garrido (13 May 1968 – 13 July 1997) was a Spanish economist and municipal politician and a member of the People's Party, in Ermua, the Basque Country. He was kidnapped and murdered by the Basque separatist group ETA. Biography Early life Miguel Ángel Blanco Garrido was born on 13 May 1968 in Ermua (Biscay) into a humble family. He had a sister, María del Mar. His father, Miguel Blanco, was a construction worker and his mother, Consuelo Garrido, was a housewife. They were Galician immigrants from Xunqueira de Espadanedo (Ourense, Galicia). Consuelo died on 1 April 2020 from coronavirus, three weeks after her husband's death. Miguel Ángel Blanco graduated in economics at the Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea in Sarriko. Francisco Javier García Gaztelu
Francisco Javier García Gaztelu (12 February 1966), alias "Txapote", is a Basque separatist terrorist who is responsible for the assassination of several Basque politicians. He is also known by the aliases ''Perretxiko, Jon'', ''Xabier'', and ''Otsagi'', among others. He was part of the "hard wing" of ETA and never showed any sign of repentance for his actions or condemned those of the group. Arrested in 2001, he currently serves multiple sentences, adding up to 500 years of imprisonment. Criminal activities Txapote began his career, like many ETA activists, through Kale borroka urban violence. He was sentenced to one year in prison for throwing a Molotov cocktail at a French car dealership in his home town of Galdacano in 1987.
