Greg Schorp
Greg Schorp (born September 6, 1971) is an American former professional football player who was a tight end for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Texas A&M Aggies, receiving All-SWC honors from 1991 to 1993 and was a first-team selection the latter two years. As a senior, he received honorable-mention All-American recognition. Early life Schorp was a standout at San Antonio Churchill High School. He was a two-time All-district tight end and linebacker. He also competed in basketball and baseball. He accepted a football scholarship from Texas A&M University. He was a part of a strong squad that beat 13th ranked BYU 65–14 in the Holiday Bowl. Jeffery Adam Granger (born December 16, 1971) is an American former professional baseball pitcher who played for the Kansas City Royals and the Pittsburgh Pirates of Major League Baseball (MLB). High school Granger was a star quarterback and pitcher for Orangefield High School in Orangefield, Texas. In 1990, his senior year, he led the Orangefield Bobcats to the state semifinals with a 23–6 record. The Pigskin Classic was a season-opening college football game played at Anaheim Stadium from 1990 until 1994, and continued from 1995 to 2002 at various stadiums. It was initially created as a west-coast counterpart of the Kickoff Classic and hosted by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics. From 1990 to 1994 it was sponsored by Disneyland and referred to as the Disneyland Pigskin Classic. In team sports, a most valuable player (MVP) award is an honor typically bestowed upon an individual (or individuals, in the instance of a tie) whose individual performance is the greatest in an entire league, for a particular competition, or on a specific team.
